Turkish American Women Association visited the nursing home Gardens of Richardson on Thanksgiving Day.Early in the morning, volunteers celebrated Thanksgiving of every single resident at the nursing home and talked with them. The residents shared their memories about their families who were away.

The friendly, open and warm conversations between the TAWA volunteers and the elderly attracted the administrative assistants' and nurses' attention. They asked several questions about TAWA. The elderly, the nurses and the administrators expressed their gratitude to TAWA volunteers for their kind and thoughtful visit on this special day.
