The SMU Interfaith Dialog Student Association (IDSA) in collaboration with the Turkish American Women Association and the Institute of Interfaith Dialog organized a luncheon for the academia at SMU on November 3, 2009.

Representatives from TAWA and IID, and SMU professors from many different departments along with several SMU graduate students attended the luncheon. The luncheon's guest speaker was the Associate Provost of SMU, Ellen Pryor. She talked about her experiences during her dialog trip to Turkey, shared her pleasant memories with the guests about the trip and how rewarding it was. Before Dr. Pryor's speech, TAWA Outreach Director Ayse Ozgun briefly introduced TAWA and talked about its current activities and future plans.
